The field of the local and regional economic development is intended for institutional players who are in charge of the development at the local and regional levels, both in urban as well as rural areas. It is also intended for active business players as well as active individuals who are involved or want to be involved in the development of the environment they work and/or live in. What role do municipalities, development agencies, regional chambers of commerce, business or industry clusters and other business ecosystems in an individual region have from the perspective of business environment? What good practices are there and what does the business sector expect of business ecosystems at the local and regional levels? And how should the urban or rural region develop in terms of the economy? Can the regional economic development be “innovative” too? These are only a few of the questions we receive in the framework of our trainings, mentoring and advising.
